One mans off the beaten track is another mans other side of the world. That's my attempt at a new saying. True though, our Glasgow shop gets regular customers from the Ayrshire coast, Helensburgh, Argyleshire, even Skye, and yet on a daily basis we hear comments like, "I've come all the way from the South Side or "ever thought of opening a place on Byres Road" " you're a bit off the beaten track"
